There has been a lot of speculation recently about a new Ironman being added to the schedule.  Looks like they are pretty close to striking a deal to have it in the Woodlands, TX.  Following is a little article about the progress.

Should be interesting.  Can be awfully hot in May in Houston.

Looks like it's official.  Ironman Texas - slots go on sale on Friday.
